Dr. Shebovsky was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended the University of the State of New York at Albany, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continued his studies at New York Chiropractic College, where he received the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating with high honors (cum laude). Dr. Shebovsky has received the following awards/honors: National Dean's list of Colleges and Universities, Phi Chi Omega International Chiropractic Honor Society, New York Chiropractic College Dean's List Award, and the New York Chiropractic College Service Award. He has also instructed student doctors studying for the National Board Exams. He has completed post graduate training in sports injuries, whiplash, and brain injury traumatology. Dr. Shebovsky specializes in injury care and family practice, with additional emphasis on disc decompression through the use of VAX-D. With his interest in patient education, Dr. Shebovsky lectures frequently within the community discussing health, stress, and injury prevention issues. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Florida Chiropractic Association, and the Central Florida Chiropractic Society. Dr. Shebovsky is married and has three children. His hobbies include playing baseball, weight training, golf, and magic. As a patient, you can feel secure knowing that Dr. Shebovsky has a vast knowledge of Chiropractic and a welcoming sense of professionalism.

Carlos ColomboCarlos H. Colombo, M.D.

Dr. Colombo was born and raised in South America. With his multi-cultural background, he is fluent in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and English. He attended the University of La Plata, in Buenos Aires, where he received his training in Emergency Medicine, Pathology, and Internal Medicine. He continued his education in the United States, with training at the Framingham Union Hospital, University of Massachusetts, and Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Colombo's healthcare emphasis is on wellness and preventive medicine. He specializes in injuries and disability, and is dedicated to the non-surgical treatment of soft tissue trauma, mainly focusing on Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. Dr. Colombo also has extensive experience in court testimony and clinical quality improvement. He is very active in community health education and women's wellness. Dr. Colombo is a member of the American Medical Association. His hobbies include music and traveling.

Timothy BortzTimothy J. Bortz, D.C.

Dr. Bortz was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He attended Madison Area Technical College and went on to study Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer College, known as the "Fountainhead" of Chiropractic, is where Chiropractic has its origins over 100 years ago. Dr. Bortz practiced in Wisconsin for four years before moving with his wife, a native of Orlando, and two children to Florida. Dr. Bortz is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, World Chiropractic Association, Florida Chiropractic Association, and the Florida Chiropractic Society. Dr. Bortz spent 12 years in the Wisconsin Air National Guard where he worked on A-10s and F-16s. His responsibilities included loading munitions onto the aircraft. He left the military to start a career in Chiropractic. His hobbies include spending time with his family, hunting, and watching football during football season. Dr. Bortz's clinical proficiency and caring touch are just a part of why he's so valued by the patients at South Orange Wellness & Injury Center.

Maria AguilarMaria Aguilar, L.M.T.

Maria Aguilar was born and raised in Argentina. Throughout her life, Maria has always shown an interest in different healthcare domains including public healthcare, rescue care, emergency care, and rehabilitative care. When she was 17 years old, she graduated as a Technician in Chemistry. Then in 1980, she began working as an official trainer for the Argentinean government in their Department of Firefighting. In order to extend her knowledge, Maria moved to Europe. While in France, she studied and became fully trained in rescue care and advanced first aid. Then in 1991, she received her first diploma in Massage Therapy. Maria has also been certified by the European School of Therapeutic Massage and Natural Therapies of Cataluņa, Spain. When she moved back to Argentina, she attended the University of Mendoza, Faculty of Health Sciences, and was awarded her diploma in Physical Therapy. Subsequently, Maria went back to work for the Argentinean Government for seven years - this time in the Department of Rehabilitation in Mendoza as a health practitioner. Maria continued her education in the United States where she obtained a National Certification in Massage Therapy and Bodywork. She is fully trained in medical massage, specifically as applied to pain management. She enjoys being a part of South Orange Wellness & Injury Center because it gives her a great opportunity to practice the healing arts she loves so much. Maria plans on getting her Masters degree in Medical Massage Therapy very soon. She is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, music, and traveling.
